Currently we meet on Wednesdays. You can review the class schedule and create a parent profile. You select the classes you would like for each child. The price listed next to each class is the tuition price for the 13 week semester. The registration fee (includes a $30 enrollment fee, $30 administrative fee, and $30 facility use fee) will be added on at check out per child.   

Our program is designed to support homeschooling families. We are not a school so we don’t use a universal curriculum. The decision for curriculum for your child is ultimately up to you. You can review the class descriptions and pick and choose classes based on what you want your child to learn.  

Credits are assigned to the homeschooling child by the parent. You will review the content and determine what credits you decide to award.  

We can provide support and advice regarding the steps to begin homeschooling. We can also provide support and advice about curriculum options. Our homeschool program provides other parents who can instruct classes you’re not comfortable teaching to your child yourself.  

Parents are an essential part of Davie ACE. Involvement is a very important part of a program like this and is what distinguishes us from a traditional government-run school or a child care center. If you absolutely cannot volunteer, there is a volunteer opt-out fee that will be added to your tuition but should be used as a last resort.

The roles you could consider being involved with include: 

• Morning Door Monitor 
  • Assists getting participants safely from their designated vehicle to the Sanctuary for Morning Kick-off 
  • Monitors the door 

• Entry/Hall Monitor 
  • Responsible for supervising points of entry and hallways for participants and visitors to direct toward their expected location.
    
     
• Lunch Monitor 
  • Works with the Study Hall Monitor to supervise participants while eating and playing during their lunch hour 

• Class Assistant 
  • Works with instructors in the classroom to assist with tasks and participant supervision 

• Afternoon Door Monitor 
  • Monitors the door 
  • Assists getting participants safely from classrooms to their designated vehicle
    
     
• Director Assistant 
  • Works with the executive director to check on staff, monitor entry points, and take pics and video for promotional use 

• Parent Committee 
  • Works with leadership to plan theme days, activities, and field trips 
  • Fundraising activites 
  • Curriculum Development 
  • Educator Recruitment
    
     
• Volunteer Substitute 
  • Be available to possibly fill in in case a volunteer needs one day coverage
